I look at attachment across the life span, the neurobiology of parenting and child development and interventions to help children.

My research may change parents’ or teachers’ perspectives on children with so-called ‘difficult temperaments’ or children who are easily distressed, realizing that these children are the ones that will profit optimally from support and flourish like orchids.
